Oldfashioned App
A vintage clothing discovery and resale app with a rich, editorial aesthetic — pairing warm typography with immersive photography to make thrifting feel curated and personal.
Overview
The Challenge
Most secondhand clothing apps prioritise listing volume over experience — endless grids, poor photography, and no sense of curation. Oldfashioned set out to be different: a vintage clothing app with the soul of an independent boutique. The kind of app you browse for pleasure, not just for bargains.
The design brief was to create an experience that felt premium and editorial — inspired by the confidence of vintage fashion zines and independent fashion labels — while keeping the buying and selling flow simple and trustworthy.

Storyboard
Every screen is designed to make you want to linger. The home feed uses large editorial cards grouped by era and style. Item pages lead with a full-bleed photo before surfacing details. The wardrobe view lets sellers present their collection like a personal lookbook.
